About Us

Damontre (Tre’) Owens and Joyce Owens founded the Knockout Investing and Bite of Wisdom in 2020 amidst

the Covid 19 global pandemic. They have been actively trading since 2011 and have since

become instructors in the field. When the stock market dropped sharply in March 2020, family

and friends always asked how to trade and invest. The subject is simply too deep and broad to

give quick answers, so they were invited to join Tre’ and Joyce online while they trade and

invest the markets, teaching the fundamentals of this unique skillset. In 2021 Tre’ and Joyce

have committed to sharing their knowledge about trading and investing by expanding to reach

a worldwide audience, with the help with group member and trader, Justin Kalski, as Bite of

Wisdom’s Senior IT Specialist.

Raised in Baltimore MD, high school sweethearts Tre’ and Joyce became teenage

parents in 1993 and needed to support their growing family. They both committed to a

lifestyle of working from home to be with their children and each other as much as possible.

After discontinuing conventional college, they proceeded to start a successful business,

acquire real estate for investments & rental properties, manage their children as

actors/models, and began trading/investing/teaching the financial markets. Raising 5 children

together for 29 years, happily married for 21 years and being business partners is no small

feat. It’s a MIRACLE!

Along their journey, there is no denying that their faith and trust in the Lord matured

and is an essential part of their lives in everything they do. Tre’ and Joyce are grateful for the

many freedoms that their lifestyle has afforded them and are passionate about sharing the

lessons of wisdom learned along the way: faith, redemption, marriage, parenting, health,

education, finance, business, ministry and much more.

Tre’ and Joyce are not licensed financial advisors, planners or professionals nor do they

claim to be the gurus of trading and investing! They humbly proclaim that they are simply the

result of numerous respected and successful traders and investors generously pouring decades

worth of expertise into them. Over the years, Tre’ and Joyce have learned from wall street

professionals, hedge fund managers, floor traders, stockbrokers, clerks, market makers, and

even cryptocurrency rock stars.

They have a knack for taking complex subject matter and industry terminology and

breaking them down to simple, easily understood, digestible concepts for anyone regardless of

their level of experience.
